Pulse rate measurement to identify foods that did not sit well with you

Choosing the right food is the best way to reduce candida infection. Apart from choosing the right food, having a good food combination is also another good method to cope and live healthy. In this article, I show you a very simple way on how to identify foods that will not suit your body. Remember, this does not replace the need for you to consult your doctor or health advisor.

In a conversation with a friend the other day, I was reminded of something that I thought I could pass on to all of you. I was told (and this works for me) that after lunch, dinner, etc., you should take your pulse. If it goes up, chances are you ate something that didn’t sit well with you. This is a good way to monitor yourself as well to identify which foods may cause problems in your diet for candida. But there are several things you should know first.

First make sure you know your normal pulse, then when you take it after you eat something (wait 15 minutes), see if it has gone up more than 10 beats per minute. If so, you’re probably having a reaction.

To make it precise, I would time my pulse for 30 seconds. Setting it for 60 seconds will make it even more accurate. You can also test for specific foods this way. I did the peanut butter test, waited 15 minutes then took my pulse, no reaction. There are still other simple methods that can be done at home to prevent further yeast infection.
