Audiobooks: The Cure for Boredom on the Treadmill

I used to dread the time I have to spend on my treadmill several times a week.
It really was a love/hate story.

It’s not that using a treadmill is all that difficult, painful, or uncomfortable.
However, it can be the most painful bored activity known to man.

or should i say used be. Now I have finally found the cure for
treadmill boredom It’s called audiobooks and they’re all the rage right now.

Audio books have exploded on the scene in recent years.

Actually, audiobooks have been around for over 50 years in the form of
books on tape, which were popularized long ago by Lighthouse for
the Blind man as he was called then. (Now called the Lighthouse for the Blind and
visually impaired).

Later, public libraries began offering books on tape. With the explosion of CDs that
happened in the fall of 2003, it was inevitable that audio books would begin to be
produced on CD. Although CDs had been around for several years, it was
in the fall of 2003 that most new cars came with CD players instead of
audio cassette players.

After that, most audio products were produced on CD rather than audio.
cassettes, although some vendors produced both formats.

Now, most public libraries offer a large selection of audiobooks on CD. Department
the blinds too. And of course, there are plenty of websites that offer a
largest selection of audiobooks on CD, often at a significant discount.

What is really new, however, is the trend to offer downloadable
audiobooks online. This provides the additional benefit of immediate availability in
in addition to the lowest price that is possible thanks to the very low cost of production
and distribution compared to the traditional method. There is a near zero cost of
production and distribution. The main costs of the supplier are the acquisition of the
product license and advertising.

The increasing prevalence of high-speed Internet connections has made it feasible
to download the large files needed for CD-quality audiobooks.

In many cases, when you buy an audiobook online, you get an immediate
download the product and are allowed to transfer it to a CD or an iPod(tm) or
other portable audio device.

This makes it possible for you to listen to your favorite book while driving, jogging, exercising
in a gym, or even at work.

Some online websites, including mine, provide a 100% money back guarantee.
offers an unconditional refund on any audiobook, within 30 days of purchase if for any
reason why you are not satisfied with your purchase.
